Latex Care

Remember that latex is like a vampire; keep your garments out of the sun, and if possible wear only at night or away from the sun to avoid sun damage. I store my latex inside the plastic bags provided in a large cloth bag, that is closed and kept in my closet away from the light.

Use silicone dressing lubricant or talc powder for dressing, and avoid using fingernails while dressing.

Light and/or translucent colors are sensitive to non stainless-steel metals and can stain - please be cautious. Almost all of my hardware is stainless steel, and will not stain latex. Anything non-stainless is noted, and should be kept away from light colors.
Use 100% silicone oil to shine, wiping away from seams and not into them.
Hand wash with a small amount of dish soap in water every time after wearing. Latex is a porous material, and body oils can cause damage over time. Washing and proper storage after every wear will make sure your latex lasts a lifetime.
Use talc powder or polish to prevent sticking when storing latex. The bag that comes with your order is perfect for storing.
